Job Description
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance activities, including inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and system rectifications in accordance with approved maintenance data, aviation regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company procedures. You will ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable quality and airworthiness standards.
In this role, you will provide technical guidance and supervision to maintenance personnel, review and certify maintenance documentation, and collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and support aircraft reliability. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a strong safety culture and adherence to the GMF Quality System.
Requirements
- Have minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or MRO industries.
- Possess minimum one valid Aircraft Maintenance License (AMEL) and relevant Aircraft Type Rating (AME License rating ATR 42/72; B737; B777; B747; A320; A330; B787; A350).
- Familiar and able to interpret and apply Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).
- Good understanding of applicable aviation regulations and airworthiness requirements, such as CASR, DGCA regulations, and relevant international aviation standards.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, aviation regulations, and manufacturer maintenance documentation.
- Ability to analyze technical problems and provide effective engineering solutions and recommendations.
- Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings, engineering data, and maintenance documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a professional and operational environment.
- Willing to work in a dynamic MRO environment, including shifts when required, and be assigned to any GMF operational location.
