Job Description
- Responsible for managing project tasks/activities for a Portfolio of Project and/or Non-Project IT Initiatives with low-to-medium scope complexity and budget size, to ensure compliance with plans and meet defined quality standards (on time, within scope and on budget constraints).
- Responsible for ensuring Project/Non-Project implementation meets objectives and timelines by supervising, monitoring, and controlling the completeness and accuracy of all processes at each development and Project/Non-Project stage, including identifying and mitigating issues, controlling, and evaluating Project/Non-Project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage resource planning, budgets, timelines, task allocation, and project team responsibilities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Actively manage a plan and project risks and issues.
- Coordinate the project team by communicating Project/Non-Project development analysis to relevant units (users and vendors) and progress on the development work.
- Coordinate with relevant internal and external parties in Project/Non-Project implementation, including testing and preparation for migration to a production environment.
- Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to project team members as needed, to ensure accountability and positive action on delegated tasks.
Requirements
- Have at least bachelor's degree from reputable university with education background from Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology, Business Studies/Management or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 5 years working experience, with at least 3-4 years as an IT Project Manager, preferably in Banking or Financial Institution.
- Have knowledge and experience in SDLC (waterfall, agile).
- Strong on logical analysis, a good self-learner.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skill
- Good to Excellent skills in Work Planning, Scope Management, Resource Management, Risk/Issue Management, Quality Management, and Change Management.
- Have knowledge on software development or IT technical knowledge will be advantageous.
