To strengthen our Operations team, we are looking for Junior Operators who will play a key role in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Combined Cycle Power Plant.
In this role, you will be directly involved in operating and monitoring plant equipment, supporting plant performance, and ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, eager to learn, and motivated to build a long-term career in power plant operations within a high-performance and safety-driven environment.
We’re Looking for You
As a Junior Operator, you will support the Shift Leader and Operations team in ensuring smooth and safe plant operations. You will be responsible for executing operational activities, monitoring equipment, and maintaining plant performance in line with established procedures.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Support safe and efficient operation of the Combined Cycle Power Plant systems and equipment
- Assist in start-up, shutdown, and regulation of plant systems in accordance with procedures
- Perform routine plant inspections, monitor equipment condition, and record operational data
- Identify abnormalities and report equipment issues through proper reporting systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID, and operational procedures
- Support shift handover by clearly communicating plant status and ongoing issues
- Assist in implementing Permit to Work (PTW) and maintaining safe work conditions
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
- Participate in safety audits, safety meetings, and promote safe working practices
- Support plant performance targets in terms of availability, reliability, and efficiency
What You’ll Bring:
- Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- Experience in industrial environments, preferably in power plant operations & maintenance
- Basic understanding of power plant systems and fundamental engineering principles
- Ability to read and understand P&ID, technical drawings, and operational data
- Knowledge of process equipment such as valves, pumps, and basic control systems
- Familiarity with safety procedures and Permit to Work (PTW) system
- Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule
- Strong attention to detail, discipline, and safety awareness
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a team
