We’re Looking for You
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide engineering expertise, technical analysis, and project support to maintain and enhance plant performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide and lead technical guidance related to mechanical systems, including Power Block, Balance of Plant (BOP), and Fuel Gas System.
- Review and verify engineering designs, drawings, datasheets, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with standards and reliability requirements.
- Analyze equipment performance to identify efficiency losses, reliability issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate condition and performance of rotating and static equipment, including gas/steam turbines, generators, HRSG, and auxiliary systems.
- Support predictive maintenance activities such as vibration analysis, borescope inspection, oil analysis, and thermal imaging.
- Lead or participate in engineering projects including modifications, upgrades, and new installations under Management of Change (MoC).
- Prepare and review technical documents such as scope of work, specifications, and engineering evaluations.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and contractors for technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and project execution.
- Develop engineering budget plans and support long-term asset improvement initiatives.
- Manage LTSA (Long Term Service Agreement), vendor performance, and warranty claim processes.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety standards, company policies, and international codes.
- Promote continuous improvement in design, reliability, and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering within power plant or similar industries (oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment, including gas and steam turbines, generators, HRSG, and pressure parts.
- Experience in equipment performance analysis, troubleshooting, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Familiar with international standards (API/ASME) and performance evaluation of rotating equipment.
- Proficient in using CMMS (e.g., Maximo) and interpreting P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
- Good understanding of LTSA contracts, budgeting, and vendor management.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to manage multiple engineering projects.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
